Change Animations

Let's say you have used a Fade animation for a slide object, and now you want to use a Wipe animation instead. It's been observed that most of the time, users may remove an animation and apply another one rather than changing one animation into another. This may be because, in PowerPoint 2016, there is no particular option within the interface that changes the animation. But there is still a very easy one-click operation to change an existing animation to another one, as you
will learn in this tutorial. The need to change an animation may arise for several reasons.
New Tab Options in Backstage View

When you launch PowerPoint 2016, you are provided with an option to create a new blank presentation. Further, if you are already working on an open presentation, and want to create a new presentation at that point, you can do so using the New tab within the Backstage View.

Add New Slide Layouts

Using different Slide Layouts in PowerPoint, you can create good-looking slides. For example, you can use the ready-made layouts available that contain pictures or charts, or a separate layout for the opening slide. These layouts can be edited, duplicated, and renamed within the Slide Master to create even more Slide Layouts.
