Working with RGB Colors
We already explored what Color Models are, and we then looked at the RGB color model that uses three primary colors: Red, Green, and Blue to mix and create almost 16 million colors. All RGB colors have values for all the three colors that you mix: R, G, and B. Assuming someone has provided you with an RGB value, and asked you to add a rectangle of that color to a slide, then how do you proceed within PowerPoint?
Using the Pen and Highlighter Tools in Slide Show View
While presenting and interacting with your audience, annotation on a slide can play an important role, and PowerPoint provides you with useful Pen and Highlighter tools that can change your static slide into a whiteboard upon which you can doodle and write! In this tutorial, we will learn how these tools can be helpful.
Edit Annotations with Ink Tools
When you use the Pen and Highlighter tools to annotate, you are provided with an option to save those annotations when you exit Slide Show view. If you do opt to save them, then you will actually open doors to new capabilities that will allow you to edit these annotations – in fact, you can also change these annotations to shapes and work more with them!
Hide/Unhide Slides
Do you have a secret slide with useful information that you would rather not delete? But what if you show this slide to your audience inadvertently? How do you cope with this problem? The solution is easy: you just hide the slide. Hidden slides don’t show up in Slide Show view, but they are still available to edit and to possibly unhide when you are ready to show that slide to the world.

Outline Pane Options
The Outline view in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac essentially brings up the Outline pane on the left side of PowerPoint 2016 interface. Note that this now replaces the Slides Pane that shows up in Normal view. Also, any changes you want to make to your outline can be made through right-click (or Ctrl-click) options, and we'll show you how you can do so.
