Change Bulleted List to Numbered List
In PowerPoint when you type text within a placeholder, the default result is that you create a bulleted list. Also, when you import an outline, all the content other than the slide titles ends up becoming bulleted text. While this may work in some situations, at other times you may want to either remove the bullets altogether, or convert it to a numbered list.

Change the Numbered List Style
PowerPoint allows you to choose from several styles for your numbered lists -- there are variations in digits, alphabets, and Roman numerical styles. By default, PowerPoint 2013 uses the 1, 2, 3 style for numbered lists. And since you can change bulleted list styles, it is only natural that you expect some changes to be allowed for numbered list styles too.

Start or Restart Numbering for Lists
Imagine that you have a long numbered list that forms the content within your PowerPoint slide. Now, it is not uncommon for slides to have numbered lists that comprise twenty lines, and that is singularly unfortunate because even if members of your audience have perfect eyesight, they won't be able to read the teeny-weeny sized text! And let us face the fact that too much text is downright boring, and nowadays any sort of bulleted or numbered lists seem to signify a poorly designed slide. One approach you can take to combat this problem is by dividing your list across multiple slides -- but even then PowerPoint may default to numbering your lists at 1 on each slide -- even when you want it to start at 6, 11, or 16! Luckily, that is an easier problem to resolve, as explained in this tutorial.
